(From Clark Funeral Home)John Edgar Hoover, 82, Neosho, entered into rest on May 17, 2022, at Medicalodge in Neosho, Missouri. John was born January 28, 1940, in Newton County, Missouri, one of eight children to Edgar and Fern Hoover.
He was a carpenter working in residential construction. John enjoyed hunting and fishing.
On August 2, 1958, in Neosho, John and Mary (Huffman) were united in marriage and she preceded him in death on March 4, 2018.
He is survived by two sons, Bill Hoover of Harrisonville, Missouri and Andy Hoover and wife, Debby of Bella Vista, Arkansas; three grandchildren, John Hoover and wife, Andrea of Overland Park, Kansas, Danielle Qualls and husband, Jesse of Bentonville, Arkansas and Dr. Sara Keys and husband, Chris of Bella Vista, Arkansas; four great grandchildren; one brother, Jack Hoover and two sisters, Frona Fager of Belton, Missouri and Jareva McCann of Springfield, Missouri.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.
