(From Parker Mortuary)Nancy Beth Northup, 46, of Carl Junction, Missouri, departed this life suddenly on Sunday evening, May 22, 2022, at Freeman Hospital West, after suffering a massive heart attack.
Nancy entered this life on September 2, 1975, in Joplin, Missouri, one of two daughters born to the union of Phil Robert and Victoria Jean (Wiles) Northup.
She was raised in Joplin and was a 1993, graduate of Joplin High School. She furthered her education by receiving her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. She was currently employed by Freeman Hospital as a Registered Nurse.
During the Covid pandemic, Nancy traveled to New Jersey and Phoenix to work on the front lines.
Nancy has resided the last twelve years in Carl Junction. She enjoyed biking, fishing, camping, playing games, working on old cars with her Dad, helping with Gracie’s theater projects and spending countless hours with her family.
Nancy was a member of Harmony Heights Baptist Church. She loved the LORD and her church family and enjoyed driving the church van for all the Sunday school trips and conferences. Nancy’s greatest joy was her daughter Gracie and she enjoyed spending every free moment with her on their many spontaneous adventures together.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Harold and Anna Lucille Northup and Elvin and Betty Wiles.
Nancy is survived by her daughter, Gracie Morris and husband, Luke, of Carl Junction; her parents, Phil and Victoria Northup also of Carl Junction; a sister, Kelly Witter and husband, Dave, of St. Charles, Missouri; and three nieces, Emma, Sophie and Abbey Witter.
Funeral services are 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 28, 2022, at Parker Mortuary with Ryan Jackson officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday morning beginning at 9:00 a.m. in the mortuary chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary in Joplin, Missouri.
