(From Brenner Mortuary)Stephanie Marie Short, 40, of Pittsburg, KS, passed away at her home on Friday, May 13, 2022.
Stephanie was born on July 11, 1981 to Jack and Janet Short in Pittsburg, Kansas and remained a resident of Pittsburg most of her life.
She worked at local factories and as a CNA for several years.
She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. She was proud of her children Dominik and Madison, and her granddaughter A’Khiyah.
She is survived by her two children, Dominik Short of Pittsburg, KS and Madison Short of Frontenac, KS, two sisters, Heather Threfall (Gerald) of Frontenac, KS and Erika Cousins (Terry) of New Castle, OK, and one granddaughter, A'khiyah Fisher of Pittsburg, KS.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Janet Short, and one brother, Samuel Dustin Short.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday, May 25th, 2022 at 10:30 AM in the Brenner Mortuary with Bishop Walter Simpson officiating. Stephanie will be laid to rest at Frontenac City Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 24th, 2022 from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm at Brenner Mortuary in Pittsburg, KS.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made towards final expenses. Arrangements are under the direction of the Brenner Mortuary, 114 E. 4th St., Pittsburg, KS.
