Bob Lee

Robert "Bob" Kent Lee was born March 28, 1943, in Pineville, Missouri, one of three children born to Robert E. and Emma L. (Johnson) Lee. In the comfort of his home, with family by his side, he entered into rest on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at age 79. Bob served his country and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He was an aviation engineer and worked in Arkansas City, Kansas, for nineteen years at G.E. Struthers, seven years at Premier Turbines, and four years at the Biz Jet in Tulsa, Oklahoma. 








He returned to Pineville and owned and operated Lee's Paint and Body Shop for seventeen years, retiring in 2007. He enjoyed doing wood carving and loved his dogs. On July 1, 1988, in Miami, Oklahoma, Bob and Velma Lea (Link) were united in marriage. She survives him of the home.

In addition to his wife, Bob is survived by four children, Jeff (Stacy) Lee of Ponca City, Oklahoma, Jerry (Pam) Lee of Ponca City, Oklahoma, Tammy (Jim) Zumwalt of Joplin, Missouri, and Jason "Pup" (LeAnn) Carnes of Tuscon, Arizona; one brother, Dennis (Linda) Lee of Ponca City, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.








In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Eden. Visitation will be held on Friday evening, September 30, from 5 – 6 pm at the Clark Funeral Home, Neosho.

A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, October 1, 2022, at 1 pm at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories.
