Carol Johnson

Carol Louise Johnson, age 84, of Diamond, MO, passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2022 following an illness.

Carol was born on November 11, 1937 the daughter of the late Vincent and Adeen (Fisher) Young. She has been a lifetime area resident. She married Burney Johnson on June 1, 1956 in Oak Grove, MO, and together they were blessed with four children. 

Carol worked outside of the house on occasion but was mainly a devoted homemaker and mother. She was a longtime member of the Beef Branch Church of Christ.








Carol helped run the Johnson Family Music Program, by running the concession stand and singing with her family for many years.

Carol is survived by two sons, Burney "Joe" Johnson and wife Anna, Neosho, MO, and Chris Johnson, Diamond, MO; two daughters, Dee Carneal and husband Rick, Diamond, MO, and Beth Ann Harrall and husband Joe, Diamond, MO; one sister, Donna Johnson, Keller, TX; one brother, Donald Young and wife Roberta, Joplin, MO; thirteen grandchildren, twenty great-children. She was preceded in death by her husband, Burney, her parents; a granddaughter, Tara Carneal; a grandson, Aaron Johnson; and a great-grandson, Fletcher Harrall.

Carol is loved dearly by her family and will be missed greatly.








Memorial contributions may be given to the Beef Branch Church of Christ Cemetery Fund in care of the mortuary.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September, 28th, at Beef Branch Church of Christ, with burial to follow in the Beef Branch Church of Christ Cemetery. The family will receive friends at a time of visitation, from 6 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, at Mason-Woodard.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
