Lonnie Horton

Lonnie Cleo Horton, age 60, of Seligman, Missouri, passed away at his home on Saturday, September 17, 2022. Son of Doyle and Juanita (Barger) Reed, Lonnie was born on June 4, 1962, in Rogers, Arkansas.
 
On June 3, 2017, Lonnie was united in marriage to Annette Jones; she survives.

Lonnie was a truckdriver by trade, and a member of His Way Fellowship Church in Gateway, Arkansas.







Ever the outdoorsman, Lonnie enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding four wheelers. Lonnie was the type of man who was always tinkering with something and would never say no to a good barbeque. Lonnie was always happiest when he was with his beloved family, especially his nephew Aaron Reed, as they were two peas in a pod and were always together. Lonnie will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his wife, Annette Jones-Horton, Lonnie is survived by ten children, Kayla Crites, of Pea Ridge, Arkansas, Kelly Thorp, of Miami, Oklahoma, Braylee Olds, of Seligman, Cleo Horton, of Rogers, Arkansas, Johnathan Horton, of Texas, Miranda Dumford Perry, of Kingston, Washington, Karra Reed and her husband, George, of Seligman, Missouri, Kimberly Olds, of Seligman, Missouri, Alesha Finely, of Belle Vista, Arkansas, Robert Olds, of Seligman, Missouri; twenty-six grandchildren; siblings, Alen Reed, of Seligman, Doyle “Porky” Reed, of Rogers, Arkansas, Dena Curtis and her husband, Daryl, of Arkansas, Sherry Mouser, of Joplin, Missouri, George Reed and his wife, Karra, of Seligman, Nina Jean Settlemire, of Morrilton, Arkansas, Don Reed and his wife, Debbie, of Avoca, Arkansas; as well as, several nieces and nephews.








Lonnie was preceded in death by one brother, Jerry Reed; and brother-in-law, Bill Mouser.

A Celebration Of Life will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 1, 2022, at His Way Fellowship in Gateway, Arkansas, with Pastor John Ledenham officiating. The family asks that everyone attending bring a covered dish.

A private family burial will be held at Beaver Cemetery in Seligman, Missouri.

Memorial contributions in honor of Lonnie may be made to the family or entrusted to White Funeral Home, P.O. Box 890, Cassville, MO 65625.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of White Funeral Home & Crematory, Cassville, Missouri.
