David L Schell, age 63 of Pierce City, MO died on Tuesday, January 20, 2015, at his home in Pierce City, MO with his wife and children by his side. Mr. Schell was born in Monett, MO on Friday, September 28, 1951. He was the son of Wylie and Francis (Young) Schell. Mr. Schell was married to Theresa Burton on Friday, November 15, 1974, in El Dorado, AR. He was a building contractor and attended the Assembly of God Church.
Surviving are the following: his wife,Theresa of the home; one son, Matthew Powell-Schell of Houston, TX; one daughter, Angela Woodle of El Dorado, AR; one sister, Mildred Kennedy of Malvern, AR; six brothers, Allen Schell of Daingerfield, TX, Gene Schell of Verona, MO, Jerry Fischer of Sarcoxie, MO, Carl Arnold of Smackover, AR, John Arnold of El Dorado, AR, and Darrell Arnold of Mesquite, TX; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Memorial services will be held at Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City, MO on Saturday, January 24, 2015, beginning at 2:30 PM with Chaplain Jack M. Betts officiating. Mr. Schell has been cremated at his request.
