Martha D. Allmendinger-Mishler, age 93 of Carl Junction, Mo., passed away from this life late Thursday, January 22, 2015 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Mo.
She was born August 22, 1921 in Hiwasse, Ar. to the union of Martin and Hattie (Dobbs) Funk. Martha was a volunteer at both Mercy Hospital and American Rehabilitation Ministries of Joplin. She was a faithful member of Carl Junction Christian Church.
Martha was preceded in death by three husbands, one son, two grandsons and three brothers. Survivors include, one son; Michael Allmendinger and his fiancé Lynn of Carl Junction, one daughter; Sally Woods and her significant other Rick of Humansville, Mo., one daughter-in-law; Judy Holt and her husband Bob of Tacoma, Wa., one grandson, Rick Eichelberger of Humansville, one granddaughter; Marty Eichelberger of Joplin, one brother; Guy Funk and his wife Imogene of Savannah, Ga.
Funeral services have been scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at the Mason-Woodard Chapel. Brother Boyce Mouton, will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Webb City, Mo. The family will receive friends at the funeral home during a time of visitation from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday evening. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to be made in memory of Martha to the Carl Junction Christian Church in care of the mortuary.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
