Mary Lou Lawrence, 88, of Pittsburg, passed away at 6:30 p.m., Monday, January 19, 2015, at Medicalodge of Frontenac.
She was born December 26, 1926, at Webb City, MO, the daughter of James A. and Alberta (Mills) White. She attended Webb City schools and graduated from Webb City High School. On February 4, 1953, she married Jack Lawrence, at Joplin, MO. He preceded her in death on February 4, 2014. Mrs. Lawrence was a homemaker and enjoyed baking and telling jokes.
She is survived by a son, Larry McReynolds and his wife, Pam of Joplin, MO, two daughters Jacque Steinbauer and her husband, Given of Joplin, MO, and Robyn Ericson and her husband, Kendall of Clovis, NM. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son, Jim McReynolds and two sisters.
Graveside Services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 21, 2015, at the Garden of Memories Cemetery with Reverend Jim Sukraw officiating. The family suggests memorials to the Alzheimer’s Association. These may be left at or mailed to the Brenner Mortuary, 114 East 4th St., Pittsburg, KS 66762.
