Electa Jeannette Brown age 90 of Joplin, Missouri passed away Saturday January 10, 2015 at the Communities of Wildwood Ranch following an illness.
Jeannette was born August 27, 1924 in Dallas Center, Texas to George and Iris (Miller) Travis.
She was a Ward Clerk for St. John’s Hospital for 30 years retiring in 1999. Jeannette was a member of Community of Christ Church, Joplin, Missouri and volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House.
Jeannette is survived by a son; Bruce Brown, San Diego, California, a daughter; Janet Brown, Joplin, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son; Scott Brown and a brother Dwight Travis.
Memorial services will be scheduled for a later date.
