Jean Pinnell

Imogene (Jean) Pinnell was born November 12, 1922 in Buffalo, Mo to John and Myrtle Craig. She went to be with the Lord on Jan 15, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, June Sutter and her loving husband, Marlin Pinnell. She and Marlin were married on May 20, 1940 and they were able to celebrate 72 wonderful years together.

She was a resident of the area most of her life, although she and Marlin lived in St Louis when they were first married, where she worked at the first Famous Barr department store. She also worked at the Newton County Courthouse and at Camp Crowder during the early years of her marriage. In later years, she was a homemaker, devoting her life to her husband and family.

Jean is survived by her brother, John Craig, her daughters, Ticia Pinnell and Pam Youngblood, six grandchildren, Chris, Greg and Doug Capps, and Stephanie, Heather and Matthew Youngblood, along with nine great grandchildren.
