Eric Lee Girdner, 40, Neosho, died March 18, 2016 at Freeman Hospital in Neosho, following a sudden illness.
He was born March 11, 1976 in Gravette, Arkansas, the son of Larry and Linda (Burrow) Sellers. Eric moved to Missouri as a child and graduated from McDonald County High School. He served in the U.S. Army and after his service he returned to Neosho and worked in construction. He was a kind hearted, fun loving person who worked hard to recover from injuries he sustained in an automobile accident in 2003.
Eric is survived by his son, Joshua Lee Girdner of Neosho; brother, Jerry Paul Girdner and wife, Teresa of Neosho; sister, Katrina Girdner of Neosho and five nieces and nephews, Tesla Hart, Krysta Girdner, Jarid Girdner, Teahgan Allen and Cayden Allen. We will miss you “Erk”. The body has been cremated and private family services will be held at a later date.
