Nadeene Stewart, age 88 of Redings Mill, Mo. passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2016, following an illness. She was born on July 28, 1927 in Fort Gibson, Ok the daughter of Robert and Etta (Demmelmaier) McKissick. She owned and operated a health food store in Olathe, Ks and later a convenience store in Joplin, Mo. She married John A. Stewart in 1964 in Joplin, Mo. He preceded her in death in 1986. She was a member of Church of Christ in Spring City, Mo. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, wild life, reading and cooking.
Survivors include one son: Bill Cushman, Neosho, Mo.; one daughter Laelani Fransisco, Jay, Ok.; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren, five nieces and four nephews. She was preceded in death by one granddaughter, one brother, and two sisters.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday March 18, 2016 at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery.
