Deanna Griffith

Deanna Darlene Robertson Griffith was born Jan. 4, 1939 to Fred Benjamin and Lucille Amelia Robertson in Henryetta, OK. She was one of seven children. She graduated from Henryetta High School in 1957.

Darlene was married to Bill Wise in 1957. Three children were born during this union, Lucia Deann, Gayla Ruth and William E. Wise Jr. She moved to Joplin, MO in 1969. In 1972 she married George Griffith in Jane, Missouri. She has two 'bonus' sons from this marriage, Jeff and Steve Griffith. She and George now have ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Lucille Robertson, two sisters, Lawana (Lee) Francisco Jobe and Alice Mall, and three brothers Burley Dean Robertson, Bob F. Robertson, and Bill (Bulldog) Robertson. She is survived by her husband, George Griffith, daughters Lucia Bush, Carthage, MO, Gayla White and husband, Rick of Bentonville, AR, son Bill Wise Jr. And wife, Rhonda of West Siloam Springs, OK, Jeff Griffith of Brewton, AL, Steve Griffith of Ft. Walton Beach, FL. Granddaughters, Casey Shaw and husband John, Rogers, AR, Kendall Ratcliff and husband Jackson, Little Rock, AR, Melanie Griffith Pollard and husband Brandon, Ft. Walton Beach, FL, Lacey Garrett and husband David, Tahlequah, OK. Grandsons, Rodney O'Brien, Joplin, Mo, Ryan Bush, Jane, MO, Trent Wise and wife Dailey, Waynesville, MO, Shane Clark and wife Shelley, Bentonville, AR, Eric Stephens and Matt Stephens, Tahlequah, OK. Great Grandchildren, Katelyn and Natalie O’Brien, Miles Shaw, Benelli Wise, Kaci Ann and Chase Clark, Keller Stephens, Copper and Zane Garrett. Sister, Donna Dickey and husband, Carl Don, Lake Eufaula, OK. Many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. She was loved and will be missed by all.

Funeral services for Mrs. Griffith are 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Jane, Missouri with Pastor Rick Haskins officiating. Burial will follow in the Jane Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6-8:00 p.m. in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes. Memorials are being directed to the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and contributions may be left at the funeral home.
