Florence “Flo” Davis, age 92 of Webb City, Missouri passed away Thursday November 17, 2016 at Webb City Health and Rehabilitation Center following a decline in health.
She was born July 16, 1924 in Anderson, Missouri to William and Janey (Browning) O’Banion.
Florence worked as a homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a great great grandmother. She loved her family very much. Flo enjoyed doing embroidery, making quilts, and working crossword puzzles.
She married Glen Davis in 1943 and he preceded her in death in 1984. Flo was also preceded in death by her parents, one brother and three sisters.
Florence is survived by three children, Bill Davis and wife Gloria, Webb City, Missouri, Irene Sommer and husband Edward, Sarcoxie, Missouri, Jack Davis and wife Ronda, Carthage, Missouri; 13 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 11:00 am Tuesday November 22, 2016 at Park Cemetery, Carthage, Missouri with Mark Dinwiddie officiating. The family will receive friends Monday November 21, 2016 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Hedge-Lewis-Goodwin Funeral Home.
