Gary Glenn Knewtson age 77 of Carl Junction, Missouri passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at Wildwood Nursing Center in Joplin.
He was born in Girard, Kansas on July 4, 1939 to Glenn Knewtson and Mattie (Schott) Knewtson. Gary owned and operated Deluxe Coffee Service, Inc. in Carl Junction until his retirement.
He married Bonnie (Parsons) Knewtson on January 23, 1960 in Springfield, MO and she survives him at their home. Gary was preceded in death by his parents; a granddaughter, HaileyKnewtson Carter; and a brother, Stephen Knewtson. He is survived by his sons, Kevin Knewtson and wife Mary of Joplin, Kelly Knewtson and wife Dana of Joplin; daughters, Andrea Shelby and husband Scott of Joplin, Donella Hendricks of Joplin; brothers, Lynn Knewtson of Florida, Mark Knewtson of Urbana, MO; sister, Ann Gimble of Milwaukee, WI; 21 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren with one on the way.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at 10:00 AM in the chapel of Simpson Funeral Home in Carl Junction with Reverend Dean Knewtson officiating. T
