(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Buddy Reed, age 83, Granby, Missouri passed away Tuesday May 10, 2022, at his home with family by his side.
He was born July 6, 1938, in Diamond, Missouri to Clifford and Iola (Perry) Reed.
Buddy graduated from Webster High School followed by serving in the United States Army. Buddy was a bridge foreman for Burlington Northern Railroad retiring in 1993 after over 30 years of service.
He enjoyed antiquing and being with his family. He loved the outdoors. Buddy was an avid tool collector and a wonderful carpenter. He will be miss by his family and friends.
He married Sharon Johnson on November 27, 1981, in Rocky Comfort, Missouri and she survives. Buddy is also survived by two sons, Thomas Reed, Christopher Reed; five daughters, Tamara McDonnel, Cherrie Evans, Holly Smith, Maria Steele, Stephanie Hutchen; one sister, Barbara Carver; eleven grandchild and seven great grandchildren.
Buddy was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Darrell Reed, one sister, Maxine Collingsworth, and one granddaughter, Adriana Smith.
Private inurnment will be at Diamond Cemetery at a later date.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory Joplin, Missouri.
