Bull Wilson

Charles Edward "Bull" Wilson of Miami, OK passed from this life Sunday, January 11, 2026 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, MO. He was 72.

Bull was born May 24, 1953 in Baxter Springs, KS to Charles Theodore and Barbara Ann (Barnes) Wilson. He had lived in the Miami area all his life. He served with the Oklahoma National Guard and was a member of the Shawnee, Delaware and Cherokee Tribes.

He had worked for O'Brien's Concrete, Evans and Associates (Miami Concrete), S.E.K. Ready Mix and Teeter's Ready Mix as a truck driver. He was a member of Warren's Branch Baptist Church, northwest of Seneca, MO. 








He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother, Joseph Wilson, 1 sister, Peggy Spencer and 1 great-grandson.

Bull is survived by his wife Janice Wilson of the home, 1 son, Timothy Wilson and his wife Sherry of Peoria, OK, 1 daughter, Chareta Easley and her husband Amos of Commerce, OK, 1 brother, Gerald Wilson of Belton, TX, 2 sisters, Elizabeth Jacobs of Peoria, OK and Charletta Fair of Bartlesville, OK, 7 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

Services will be 9:00 a.m. Thursday, January 15, 2026 at the Quapaw Tribal Community Building, southeast of Quapaw, OK with Rev. Paul Case officiating. Native American Rites will be conducted by Joel Barnes. Interment will be in Council House Cemetery, northeast of Grove, OK with Bull's grandsons, Josh Moore, Brian Baker, Kevin Baker, Jacob Wilson, Rocky Baker and Chance Wilson serving as pallbearers. Christian Willson will serve as an honorary pallbearer. Bull will lie in state at the Quapaw Tribal Community Building beginning at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday until services.
