(From Peterson Funeral Chapel)It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Ethain Eugene Harris, born on January 30, 1993 in Springfield, Mo. Ethain passed away on January 7, 2026 at Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston, Mo, after battling medical issues.
Ethain was the beloved son of Cecil Harris and Lisa Harris. He is survived by his parents Cecil Harris of Monett, Mo Lisa Harris of Marionville, Mo., his sister Kayla Harris and her son Noah of Monett, Mo., his brother Jamie Newton and family of Stockton, Mo., and his brother Cecil Newton and family of Aurora, Mo., as well as many more family members and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Ethain was a loving, hardworking, protective, and loyal person. He enjoyed cooking, fishing, fixing things, and helping others. Ethain was happiest when he was outdoors surrounded by family, friends, and nature. His beautiful smile and kind heart will continue on in our memories.
Ethain had accepted God into his heart and life, serving him by prayer, bible reading, and attending church.
May Ethain rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love and light of those who have gone on before.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 14 at 2:00 PM in the Peterson Funeral Chapel with Jack Marvin officiating. Cremation will follow.
Arrangements are under the care of Peterson Funeral Chapel.
