Pamela Plough

Pamela Kay Plough, of Wentworth, MO, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2026, at the age of 79. She was born on November 14, 1946, in Wichita, Kansas to Melvin and Alma Ruth (Arnold) Hood.

Pamela dedicated many years of her life to her career, first at Tyson Foods and later as a Cashier at Wal-Mart, where she made many lasting friendships. On May 11, 1996, in Republic, MO, she married the love of her life, Robert Plough, with whom she shared a deep and enduring bond.







She enjoyed crocheting blankets, playing gin rummy, cooking, and reading the Bible. She also had a special place in her heart for her pets and especially her family.

Pamela is survived by her beloved husband Bob Plough, her two sons James Chilcher and wife Angie of Billings, MO, and Rocco Gallo and wife Kim of Lee's Summit, MO; her step-son, Doug Plough and wife Julie, of Willard, MO. She was a cherished grandmother to her two grandchildren, Paige and Conner Gallo.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Melvin Hood and Alma Ruth (Arnold) Wilson; her stepfather, Robert R. Wilson; and her brother, Alan Aldridge.








Pamela will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A memorial visitation to honor and celebrate Pamela's life will be held from 10:00 a.m. until noon on Thursday, January 15, 2026 at Buchanan Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Haven of the Ozarks in Pamela's memory. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Buchanan Funeral Home.
