Allen L. McBride, age 73, Joplin, passed away at 6:17 a.m. Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Freeman Hospital after an illness.
Allen was born September 6, 1944 in Santa Monica, California.
He worked as a machinist for Teledyne in Neosho for several years. Allen was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, serving in the Vietnam War. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and watching NASCAR.
Allen married Betty Waters in Joplin. She survives at the home.
Additional survivors include his children, Lornia Wilson, Vinita, Ed McBride, Minnesota, Melissa McBride, Joplin, Kerri Burns, Tucson, Arizona; siblings, Susie Adkins, Rebecca McBride, Mike McBride; grandchildren, Samantha McBride, Savanah McBride, Mikala Toliver, Hailey Toliver, Jordan Ingles; and one great grandchild, Brayleigh Toliver.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
