Yalonda Lee Lowe, of Golden City, MO, departed this life on Friday, January 19, 2018, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO at the age of 60 years.
She was born on November 13, 1957 in Lockwood, MO to Harold and Edith Mae (Sangster) Yost. Yalonda graduated from Lockwood High School. She was united in marriage to Gregory Lee Lowe on September 25, 1982 in Golden City, MO.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Harold and Edith Mae Yost; her husband, Gregory Lee Lowe; and one sister, Gladys Yost.
Survivors include two sons, Ethan Wade Lee Lowe of Golden City, MO and Lucas Harold Lee Lowe of Golden City, MO; one brother, Vernie Yost of Lamar, MO; three sisters, Rhonda Smith and husband Jeff of Lockwood, MO, Becky Jeffries and husband Dan of Lockwood, MO, and Penny Schmoranz and husband David of Springfield, MO; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 28, 2018, in Greenfield Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. until service time in the funeral chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
