Rosalee E. Reynolds, 85, Neosho, entered into rest on Jan. 21, 2018 in Neosho, following failing health.
Rosalee was born Nov. 19, 1932 in Neosho, the daughter of Paul H. and Sybil I. (Mahan) Arwood. She was a lifelong area resident and worked at Lindsey’s Department Store and at Wal-Mart. She enjoyed sewing, traveling and being around people and especially spending time with her family. She is a charter member of the Park Plaza Christian Church in Joplin.
Rosalee and Everett Reynolds were married on March 15, 1950 in Anderson and he survives. Additional survivors include one son, Larry Reynolds and wife, Linda of Seneca and one daughter, Debra ‘Debbie’ Towery and husband, Gale of Norman, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Rob Reynolds, Lori Werries, Travis Towery, Craig Towery; Dusty Whitehead and Candy Whitehead; ten great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; four brothers, Howard Arwood, Ernest Arwood, Kenny Arwood and Ronnie Arwood and three sisters, Louise ‘Lucy’ Estes-Pearman, Donna Sanders and Barbara Martin. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Celia.
Services will be held on Thursday at 10 am at the Park Plaza Christian Church, 3220 S. Indiana Ave., Joplin. B. A. Austin will officiate. Interment will follow in the Swars Prairie Baptist Cemetery and serving as pallbearers will be Rob Reynolds, Danny Werries, Jacob Reynolds, Dusty Whitehead, Travis Towery, Craig Towery and Ryan Stout. The family will receive friends at the Clark Funeral Home, Neosho on Wednesday evening from 6 to 7 pm.
