Harry Emmit Halladay, 78, of Goodman, Missouri was called to heaven on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at his residence.
Harry was born on April 6, 1939 in Great Valley, New York, born to the late Ralph Raymond and Rena (Bossard) Halladay. He married Hazel Neomi Allen on April 4, 1964 at Neosho, Missouri. He was a dairy farmer and worked in metal fabrication for 40 years. Harry really enjoyed woodworking, loved his family and cherished time spent with them. He also enjoyed time spent with his dog, Champ. Harry was a faithful member of the Banner Nazarene Church in Anderson, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his parents; stepmother, Catherine Helen Davis Halladay and two brothers, Edward Halladay and Cameron Halladay.
Harry is survived by his wife of 53 years, Hazel Halladay of the home; a son, Weldon Halladay and wife, Jane of Goodman, Missouri; a daughter, Jacqueline Outler and husband, Patrick of Belton, Missouri; a brother, Ralph Arthur Halladay of Goodman, Missouri; five grandchildren with spouses, Kyle Outler and wife, Rachel, Hannah Connor and husband, Zachary, Shelby Outler and husband, Joshua, Grant Halladay and Grace Halladay; along with a host of other relatives and friends who will dearly miss Harry.
A memorial visitation will held on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at 10:30 am until service time at the Banner Nazarene Church in Anderson, Missouri. Memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at the Banner Nazarene Church in Anderson, Missouri. Reverend Dennis Bergen will officiate. A private burial of the cremains will be held at a later date in the Banner Cemetery.
