Michael 'Blow-by' Eugene England, age 57 of Joplin, entered into eternal rest on January 14, 2018 at Freeman Hospital after courageously battling a long illness.
He was born on March 28, 1960 in Joplin, Missouri to Fred Rube England and Helen Marie (Ellis) England Owen and was a lifetime resident.
Mike graduated from Parkwood High School in 1979. Following graduation, he worked at Four States Auto before going to work at Coats Lock and Key for fifteen years. He was a big car enthusiast and loved anything to do with racing. Mike was known very well as a jokster and could always be counted on to put a smile on your face. Mike loved his family and friends dearly.
He is survived by his mother, Helen England Owen, Joplin; three brothers, Glen John England, Cecil England and wife, Cindy, Raymond 'Sandy' England, all of Joplin; nine nieces; six nephews and several other extended family members.
Mike was reunited in Heaven with his dad, Fred England; two brothers, Bobby and Tracy England; a sister, Deloris Spurgeon; and a niece, Angelique Burwick.
Services are planned for Monday at 1:00 p.m. at Parker Mortuary Chapel. Pastor Hank Deslatte will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday from 5-6:00 p.m. at Parker Mortuary.
Arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
