Clistine Bartkoski, 78, of Stella, MO, formerly of Pulaskifield, MO, passed away Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, MO.
Clistine was born on March 3, 1939 in Stella, MO, daughter of the late Cliss Henry Smith and Mavis Louise (Townsend) Smith.
Clistine was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and had worked for many years at Tyson Foods, retiring in 1997. She enjoyed her yard work and her flowers.
On November 15, 1972, Clistine Smith and Leo Bartkoski were united in marriage in Miami, OK. He preceded her in death on July 3, 2005. Also preceding her in death were one daughter, Anita Gail McManus; and one brother, Roger Smith.
She is survived by two sons, Ricky Crouse, of Jacksonville, AR and Dennis Day, of Pulaskifield, MO; one daughter, Patricia DeLaGarza, of Houston, TX; one brother, Harold Smith, of Pulaskifield; two sisters, Johnnie Lee Buchanan, of Powell, MO and Peggy Lee Kimbrough, of Stella, MO; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and extended family and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 26, 2018 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery, Pulaskifield. Father Paul Pudhota will be officiating. Visitation will be from 6-7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Arrangements are entrusted to Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett, MO.
