Charles 'Sunny' Bresee, Jr. age 81, Joplin, passed away at 3:32 a.m. Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Seneca House Nursing Center.
Charles was born December 22, 1936 in Joplin to the late Charles Bresee, Sr. and Jewel Cash Bresee and was a lifetime Joplin resident.
Charles had worked for Robinson Steel and helped with the family tree and trash service in Joplin for many years. He loved the outdoors; sitting on the porch watching the rain; bull riding and raising chickens. Sunny will be missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by Garrett Bresee, Chandy Plumb, Luther Bresee, Danny Bresee, Richard Bresee, Cora Bresee and Debbie Bresee.
Survivors include a brother, Rick Bresee and companion, Robin Richey, Joplin; and extended family members, Andrew Bresee, Cory Bresee, Luke Bresee, Lacey Bresee, Kelsey Bresee, Dakota Plumb, Charleigh Geary.
A visitation is planned for Saturday from 6-7:00 p.m. at Parker Mortuary Chapel. The family will have a private interment at Fairview Cemetery at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
