Mary Joanne Saccanne, 75, of Joplin, MO, passed away at 8:39 p.m. Saturday, March 28, 2015, at Freeman Health System, Joplin, MO. She was born October 10, 1939, at Kansas City, KS, to George Thomas and Blanche (Bruce) Arnold. She graduated from Turner High School in 1957. She was united in marriage to Charles R. Saccanne in Pittsburg, KS. He preceded her in death on December 30, 1995. Mrs. Saccanne worked as a secretary for many years. Joanne was a resident of Pittsburg, KS, for over 35 years. Survivors include her son, Tom Clelland of Pittsburg, KS; a special friend, Mike Howard of Joplin, MO; a sister, Sylvia Taylor of Kansas City, KS; a nephew, David Arnold of Dallas, TX; and four nieces Julie Piano, of Dallas, TX, Laurie Sneed of Dallas, TX, Karrie Madragul of Kansas City, KS, and Lisa Taylor, of North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a brother, Norman Arnold. Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday (April 2) at the Garden of Memories Cemetery with Reverend Jim Sukraw officiating. Friends may leave condolences online at www.brennermortuary.com.
