Dolores ‘Dolly’ Mead Trichler, 84, Neosho, died April 21, 2015 at Freeman Neosho Hospital, following a short illness.
Dolores was born March 12, 1931 in California to Floyd and Violet (Yocum) Mead and moved to the Neosho area in September, 1974. She was a business owner and homemaker. She loved to be outdoors and enjoyed dancing and swimming and was a member of the Neosho Area Widow to Widow organization. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Neosho, where she was known as the ‘beautiful cookie and coffee lady’.
Dolores and Billie Mike Trichler were married on June 23, 1950 in Las Vegas, Nevada and he preceded her in death on Jan. 8, 1984. She is survived by two daughters, Colleen Joyce Holmes and husband, Raymond of Lillian, Alabama and Kathleen Joy Tessmer and husband, Terry of Neosho; four granddaughters and their husbands, Natalie and Randall Droddy, Christi and David Sims, Natasha and James Mapp and Taylor and Aaron Mogan; six great grandchildren, Tyler Droddy, Carson Droddy, Jude Mapp, Jackson Droddy, Harper Jane Sims and Logan Mapp; two brothers, Gene Mead and Dennis Mead; two sisters, Marlene Heinold and Janell Anders and her furry friend, Murphy the dog.
