Glenda Faye Shaw, after a very long and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer, went home to her Lord and Saviour, on July 17, 2015 at her home surrounded by family.
Glenda was born on August 28, 1939 to the late Orphal and Lyma Ferrell. She attended Carl Junction schools until her marriage to Jay Shaw on July 2, 1955 in Webb City. She was his best friend and absolute love of his life. Glenda was a very loving, caring lady who loved her family dearly and also loved her dog, George. Glenda liked to travel and also liked to line dance.
She will be greatly missed by her husband, Jay, of the home; her daughters, Pam Bumbernick of Webb City, Ruth Buxton, of Joplin; a loving sister, Doris Donham and her husband Wayne of Carl Junction; grandchildren and great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Private graveside services were held July 17, 2015. Matt Snyder of Frisco Church officiated.
We would like to thank Dr. Bettaso, Tonya, Rhonda and Brenda also Dr. Sidel for all their care. We thank Simpson Funeral Home for all their help.
Glenda was a member of the Frisco Church, in Webb City.
