Jean Goodman, 91, Neosho, died July 18, 2015 at Freeman Hospital in Neosho, following a short illness.
She was born January 2, 1924 in Stella, Missouri, the daughter of Solomon Joseph and Rhoda (Fry) Bowman. Jean moved to Neosho in 1977 from Woodland Hills, California and was a homemaker. She was of the Baptist faith and was a member of the Newcomers Club and the Neosho Area Widow to Widow Group. Jean married Sam Goodman on February 8, 1945 in Neosho, Missouri and he preceded her in death on July 21, 1982.
She is survived by two daughters, Linda Goodman of Neosho and Connie Bridgeman of Hawaii; and one granddaughter, Ali Lanza of Hawaii. In addition to her husband, Jean is preceded in death by one son, David Goodman.
