Marian Rose Eisen, age 87 of Joplin, passed away at 7:45 a.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at St. Luke's Nursing Center in Carthage.
Born June 21, 1928 in Joplin, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Sarah Kaplan Eisen and lived in the area her lifetime. Marian had worked at Joplin Sheltered Workshop and was an operator for Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. She was a member of the United Hebrew Congregation. During World War II she served as a Junior Hostess for the U.S.O.
In addition to her parents, Marian was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Eisen.
Survivors include her sister-in-law, Joyce Eisen of Carthage and a cousin Diane Kazden of Los Angeles, CA.
Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Mount Hope Cemetery with Alan Wippman officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
