Thomas L. Arcadipane, age 71, of Joplin, Mo. passed away at 11:37 a.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at Freeman Hospital West in Joplin following eight years of ill health. Tom was born October 19, 1943 in Carthage, Mo. and resided in the Joplin area most of his life. He was employed with the Mo. State Highway Department for 26 years, retiring in 1998. He was a member of the Baptist Church and was a former member of the Knight’s of Columbus.
Tom married Mary Frances Porter August 8, 1964 in Joplin, Mo. and she survives. Additional survivors include three daughters, Lisa Arcadipane, Seneca, Mo., Stacia Carrier and husband Mark, and Gina Lavon Taylor and husband Wes, all of Joplin, one son Scott Atkinson and wife Sylvia, Joplin, his Mother, Wanda Klarner, Carthage, Mo., one sister, Jody Campbell and husband Bill, Carthage, Mo. two brothers, B.I. Klarner, Carthage, Mo., and Mike Klarner and wife Lisa, Alba, Mo., six grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery with Randy Wilson, Minister, officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mason-Woodard Mortuary of Joplin, Mo.
