Joan Jones, 74, passed away July 7, 2015 in St Louis, MO.
Joan was born October 28, 1940 in Madison, Wisconsin to Leo F, Hebert and Hazel “Tibbitts” Hebert. Joan served in the Marine Corp and was a computer programmer for Leggett and Platt and retired from there. Joan attended the First United Methodist Church of Carthage. She was an avid card player and bingo player.
Joan was united in marriage to Billy E. Jones November 12, 1960 in Camp Pendleton, CA. He preceded her in death June 2, 2004. Joan is survived by three children Bruce Jones of Bentonville, AR, Brenda Skipper of Oviedo, FL. And Beverly Carnahan of Ozark, AL. Nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren, two brothers and six sisters. Joan in preceded by her husband, one sister and one brother.
Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday July 10, 2015 at Ulmer Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Friday July 10, 2015 at Ulmer Funeral Home. Burial will be 1:00 p.m. at Fort Smith National Cemetery, Fort Smith Arkansas Monday July 13, 2015. Contributions can be made to the Ronald McDonald House in Care of Ulmer Funeral Home.
