Reva Irene (White) Conway, 85, Carthage, MO, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2015, at National Health Care, Joplin, MO. Reva Irene White was born July 29, 1929 in Carthage, MO to the late Delbert Cecil Dipper and Molly Bell (Shaffer) Dipper. She was a graduate of Carthage Senior High School, Class of 1948. On September 2, 1950 she married Thelbert White in Beton County, AR. He preceded her in death on October 24, 1984. She later married Clifford “Cotton” Conway on May 22, 1987 in Miami, OK. He preceded her in death on November 23, 1993.
She is survived by one daughter; Rejeana (White) Riley & husband Martin, Carthage, MO; one son; Wayne White & wife Tracy, Joplin, MO; one step-daughter; Judy (White) Wright & husband Tom, Carthage, MO; one sister; Helen Achey, Carthage, MO; five grandchildren; Kathy (Axtell) Bittick & husband Dennis, Chris Axtell, Marty Riley, Kirk Riley, and Karla & husband Jerry; ten great grandchildren; Austin Bittick, Ashley Bittick, Kody Westbrook, Garrett Axtell, Kyle Axtell, Brooklyn Axtell, Blair Riley, Ezekiel Riley, Heather Adams & husband Jarad, and Hillary Longstaff.
She is also preceded in death by three brothers; Leon, Gene, and Victor; two sisters; Zelma Dipper, and Evelyn Snyder; and one grandson; Kenny Longstaff.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 29, 2015 from 6-7:00 PM in the Knell Mortuary Chapel. Graveside service will be held Thursday, July 30, 2015 at 4:00 PM in the Paradise Cemetery, Jasper, MO. Minister Tom Wright will officiate. Memorial gifts are suggested to the Carthage Shrine Club in care of Knell Mortuary, 308 W. Chestnut, Carthage, MO 64836.
