Bill Massey

Hilliard Ray (Bill) Massey, Seneca, MO went to be with the Lord Nov. 2, 2016.

Bill was born Nov. 27, 1931 in Jerusalem, AR the son of Edgar D. Massey and Alma C. Richardson Massey and they preceded him in death.

Bill married Vicki Lou Ball, Nov. 16, 1956 in Seneca, MO and preceded him in death March 17, 2005. He married Bessie Clarene Condley, Feb. 25, 2016 and she survives.

Bill work at the former Seneca Lumber Co. before working at Safeway Bakery, Joplin, MO. Bill retired from Safeway Bakery in 1993. He was a member of Seneca First Baptist Church and the Big Daddy’s Coffee Club. Bill served his nation in the Army during the Korean War. 
 
Bill was preceded in death by 5 siblings, Gentry Massey, Willadean Smith, John E. Massey, Lawton L. Massey and Garner Massey.

Survivors include; his children, Harold Massey and wife Tara and Brenda Kuhn and husband Ron both of Seneca, Sheila Massey, Joplin and Brian Massey and wife Kim, Carl Junctions; one brother, Dale Massey state of TN; two sisters, Julia Massey, Joplin and Gale DeLoach, state of TN; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca will be held 10:00 am, Nov. 7, 2016 at the Seneca First Baptist Church with Rev. Rod Van Gorkom and Aaron Weibel officiating. Burial will be in the Seneca Cemetery with Josh Stark, Zack Massey, Dustin Massey, Colton Massey, Brian Arwood and Luke Weldon serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Raymond Money, Paul Durman, Steve Crowley, Morris Ehrhart and the members of the Big Daddy’s Coffee Club. 

The family will receive friends from 2 – 3 pm, Sunday, November 6, 2016 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca.

In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Hope 4 You Breast Cancer Foundation, Joplin, MO, in care of the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, PO Box 380, Seneca, MO 64865.
