Annabell Moore

Annabell Moore, of Everton, MO, departed this life on Monday, August 21, 2017, in the Dade County Nursing Home at the age of 91 years.

She was born on November 24, 1925 in Everton, MO to David Ab and Flossy (Beals) Brewer. Annabell graduated from Greenfield High School and the Springfield Teachers College. She was united in marriage to Thomas Ray Moore on April 21, 1946 in Girard, KS. Annabell owned and operated a residential and commercial painting business. She was a member of Sharon Baptist Church for over 70 years.

Preceding her in death were her parents, David and Flossy Brewer; her husband, Thomas Moore; one son, Olin Moore; one son-in-law, James Horton; and her sister, Alphinzeen Montgomery.

Survivors include two daughters, Peggy Horton of Greenfield, MO and Conita “Nicki” Vandegrift and husband Royce of Everton, MO; one son, Steven Moore and wife Pam of Lamar, MO; eight grandchildren, Todd Vandegrift and wife Karen, Scott Vandegrift and wife Susan, Carmen Morrow and husband Tony, Shelley Mills and husband Curtis, Barbra Decker and husband Scott, Jesse Moore, Jeffry Moore and wife Elyse, and James Moore; and fifteen great-grandchildren, Josh Harris, Tristan Vandegrift, Ethan Vandegrift, Alexis Riddle, Gavin Vandegrift, Jayd Forst, Landon Morrow, Piper Morrow, Harper Morrow, Jensen Morrow, Cash Moore, Joey Moore, Aden Moore, Jayde Moore, and Jasper Moore.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 25, 2017, in Greenfield Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Carr’s Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the funeral chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Carr’s Chapel Cemetery.
