Dale Roark

Dale Roark, age 60 of Seneca, entered into heavenly peace on Sunday, August 20, 2017 at his home in Seneca, due to sudden cardiac arrest. 

Dale was born February 2, 1957 in Noel, Missouri, the son of Claud T Roark and Hazel M Plummer (Roark). 

Dale married Vicki L Sowersby on August 10, 1984 and she survives. Additional survivors include Roark brothers; Jerry & wife Melba of Stockbridge, GA, Tommy & wife Kay of Bentonville, Glen & wife Carol of Neosho, Allen of Kansas City, and sister, Sue & husband Tony Pendergraft of Neosho; Son Adam W Roark & fiancĂ©e Megan of Neosho and nine grandchildren: Ethan and Betty Sue; Ashley, Hailey and Logan; and Emma, Gavin, Gracie and Ella. Dale is preceded in death by daughter, Misha B Roark on December 23, 2009 and his parents Claud (Blub) & Hazel Roark. 

Dale was employed by Modine Manufacturing Company as a certified welder for 29 years. He loved playing slow pitch softball with the Noel Farmers team and also coached children’s baseball for many years in Anderson and Seneca. Dale also enjoyed watching the St. Louis and Springfield Cardinals, especially taking his wife, children and grandchildren to their games. His love of reading books was an everyday part of his life. Dale fell asleep every night listening to 70’s classic rock.
