Marvin Henry Waltrip, age 59 of Purdy, Missouri passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at his home.
He was born June 21, 1958 in Monett, Missouri the son of Melvin and Mary Ellen (Lloyd) Waltrip, who preceded him in death.
Surviving are his fiancée, Linda Barber of Purdy, Missouri; children, Kyle, Felicity and Chelsea; four brothers, Melvin Waltrip of Aurora, Missouri, Wayne Waltrip of Carthage, Missouri and Bill Waltrip and George Waltrip both of Monett, Missouri; a sister, Liz Tuell of Monett, Missouri and six grandchildren.
Marvin was a life-long resident of southwest Missouri. He was an electrician for chicken houses.
Services will be held at 6:30 P.M. Monday, August 28, 2017 at McDowell Community Church.
Arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
