Yvonne C. Smith was born Oct. 10, 1936 in Gladewater, Texas, the daughter of Franks S. and Vera h. (Prince) Lenhart. She entered into rest on August 8, 2017 in Neosho, Missouri, following a lengthy illness at the age of 80.
Yvonne was a licensed real estate broker in Arkansas and Missouri and had attended auctioneer school at Mason City, Iowa. She worked with her husband in the real estate and auctioneer business until their retirement. She enjoyed scrapbooking and genealogy. Yvonne was a member of the Harvest Community Church in Avilla and had always been active in church, serving as a Sunday school teacher, pianist and organist, PVBS and a Women's ministry leader.
Yvonne married Harold E. Smith on January 28, 1955 in Springdale, Arkansas and he survives. Additional survivors include three sons, Howard Edward 'Eddie' Smith, II and wife, Brenda of Alice, Texas; Glendell Clayton Smith and wife, Krystle of Granby and Wesley David Smith and wife, Jeanie of LaRussell; three sisters, Anna Jean Anderson, Emilie Marie Lenhart and Janice Louise Lenhart; eleven grandchildren and twenty six great grandchildren. Yvonne is preceded in death by a
daughter, Susan Yvonne Smith-Bradford; a grandson, Nathanial Smith; one sister, Joan N. Johnson; two brothers, Coy Lenhart and Linder Lenhart and her parents.
