Gerald Lee Owen, age 83, Webb City, MO passed away Monday, August 21, 2017 at his residence.
He was born September 19, 1933 in Red Oak, MO to the late Charles Owen, Sr. and Zeltha Luney.
Gerald married Leona Mae Goodpasture, on December 16, 1955 in Miami, Oklahoma, she survives of the home.
He worked for Ozark Machine in Webb City, retiring after 33 years. Church membership was held in Liberty Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Owen and an infant son, Danny Owen.
Survivors include his wife, he is also survived by a son, Timothy Owen, wife, Michelle, Carthage; a daughter, Linda Riggs, husband, Jon, Gardnerville, NV; one grandson, Trey Collins, Carthage and a brother, Wayne Owen, Arkansas.
Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 2, 2017 at Parker Mortuary, with Pastor Gary Balfour, officiating. Memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice Compassus and may be left in care of the mortuary.
Arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin.
