Rosemary Michele McDanel, age 70, Joplin, passed away Saturday, August 5, 2017 at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
Rosemary was born in Beloit, Kansas to Sally Lea Johnston Herndon of Beloit, Kansas, and the late Thomas William Herndon.
She worked at Beloit Nursing Home as a nurse for many years before relocating to Joplin.
In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by two brothers, Mike and Pat Herndon.
Survivors include one son, Kevin Stout, Arkansas, and three daughters, Karen Wallace, Joplin, Kari Brundrett, Rowlett, Texas, and Keli Knappage, Royce City, Texas; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; mother, Sally Herndon; two brothers, Shawn Herndon, Beloit, and Jimmy Herndon, Waxahachie, Texas.
Interment will take place at a later date in Glen Elder Cemetery, Glen Elder, Kansas.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
