Corvin Gene Morse, age 56, Joplin, passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at Freeman West after a short illness.
Corvin was born June 28, 1961 in Harrisonburg, Pennsylvania, son of the late Bobby Eugene Morse and Kathe E. Lohr Morse. He graduated from Parkwood High School in 1979, and then received a bachelor's degree in drafting and design from Missouri Southern State University. He worked several jobs over the years, and most recently was working with O'Reilly's Automotive. He also served for over 20 years with the United States Air Force Reserves, retiring with the rank of Sergeant. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.
In addition to his parents, Corvin was preceded in death by a sister, Sandra Ann Morse Cogdill.
Survivors include his children, Gregory Morse, and Anna Morse both of Joplin; brother, Edward Morse of Groves, Texas.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church of Joplin on Thursday, August 31, 2017 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
