Louis Conard

Louis Wayne Conard, 72, of Sarcoxie, Missouri passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2017 while in the comfort of his home.

Louis entered this life on February 3, 1945 in Carthage, Missouri to the union of the late Albert and Edith (Michael) Conard. He was a graduate of Sarcoxie High School. After graduation he proudly served in the United States Navy. On July 26, 1982 he was united in marriage to Hazel Filarski, sharing thirty five years together. He began his career with Juvenile Shoe Company in Sarcoxie and later in Carthage as a mechanic. Louis was a hard worker and a very dedicated employee. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, cutting wood and spending time at home.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Louis is survived by his wife, Hazel of the home; son Michael Conard of Monett, Missouri; two brothers , Albert Conard and wife, Carolyn, of Winchester, California and Ray Conard and wife, Pat, of Seneca, Missouri; two brothers-in-law, Junior Filarski and Sam Filarski and wife, Gail, all of Carthage, Missouri; as well as a host of other family and friends.


Graveside funeral services with full military honors are 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 5, 2017 at Dudman Cemetery with Pastor Don Sullivan officiating. Those honoring his life by serving as pallbearers are Michael Conard, Junior Filarski, Sam Filarski and Larry Velten. Honorary pallbearers are Albert Conard and Ray Conard.
