(From Clark Funeral Home)Mona Ruth Day, 78, Granby, MO entered into rest February 28, 2021 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Mona was born December 4, 1942 in Shell Knob, MO to Velma Florence “Polly” (Mitchell) and Johnny Jewell Pippin.
She and Bill Day were married August 19, 1961 in Newtonia, MO. She was a member of the Church of God, where she was part of the “Granny Group."
Mona was a homemaker and loved being with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed camping and crocheting.
Mona is survived by her husband, Bill, of the home; two children, Sherri Adams and Heath Standlee and Kimberly Woods and husband, Joe, all of Neosho, MO; one sister, Brenda Lasiter of Texas; four grandchildren, Courtney Blanchard, Sheena Day, Hunter Day, and Kyla Woods; three great grandchildren, Madison Blanchard, Landon Wilson, and Kaidyn Wilson; three step-grandchildren, Richard Adams Jr., Deedra Walker, and Kristy Burris; and three step-great grandchildren.
Mona was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, J.C. Pippin and Jim Pippin; and one son-in-law, Richard Adams.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at Maplewood Cemetery, Exeter, MO. Brother Paul Cole will officiate, with Brother Clifford Cole assisting.

Serving as pallbearers will be Joe Woods, Heath Standlee, Hunter Day, Ethan Lucas, Chance Wilson, and Walter Fry. Family and friends may call at Clark Funeral Home, Neosho on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm.
