(From Parker Mortuary)Deborah R. Sheridan, age 56, of Joplin, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2022, and was reunited with her loving mother.
Debbie, daughter of David Hopper and Jacklyn (Ford) McLean, was born on January 11, 1966, in Joplin. Debbie showed her personality and kind heart through everything she did, making sure to help everyone out with anything that she could. She was currently employed at Seneca House and was a previous employee of over 20 years at O’Reilly’s Automotive.
Her caring heart came naturally, as a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, putting her family’s needs and those of others before her own. She loved her pets and decorating, often surprising her children and grandchildren, and friends with decorating their homes. She always had so many thoughts and ideas about all the little things she could do. Somehow some way those little things always turned into something bigger and better. Debbie had looked at everyone like her children and treated them as such. She was a friend to all and will be missed by those who knew her.
Survivors include her Father David Hopper, of Carroll Iowa, her children, Jamie Carr, of Joplin, Christine Fletcher, and her husband, Michael, of Joplin, Jason Haymes, of Joplin, Gage Carr, of Joplin, and Carrson Hopper, of Joplin; grandchildren, Jaxson Shanks, Micha Fletcher, Logan Fletcher, Caden Fletcher, Noah Haymes, and Jacob Haymes; great grandchildren, Waylon Preston, Matthias Hopper, and one little girl due in April; brothers, Darren Hopper, Doug Hopper, Michael Hopper, and Martin Hopper; sisters, Dina McKinley, and Brandi Rowley; and numerous nieces and nephews.
