(From Ulmer Funeral Home)Linda Lanette Combs, 58, of Diamond, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at her home.
Linda was born on July 13, 1964, to David Preston and Joyce Ann “Brewer” Preston in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She lived in the Joplin and Diamond areas for the past 35 years.
She taught at the Pittsburg State University since 2016 in the psychology department as well as being a mental health counselor.
Linda was a member of the Faith Assembly Church in Joplin, Missouri. She enjoyed gardening, arts and crafts, the ocean, and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Linda was united in marriage to Ron Combs, on June 2, 2017; he survives.
Along with her husband, Ron, Linda is survived by two daughters, Miranda Maskal, of Neosho; Tristiny Kagiri (Thomas), of Tomball, Texas; one stepdaughter, Khloe Combs of Carthage; one stepson, Ethan Combs, of Carthage; and seven grandchildren Nashae, Elisabeth, Jata, Zuri, Lannie, Ander, and Robert.
She is preceded in death by one daughter Brittany Lodwick (August 2022).

A memorial service will be held for Linda at 2:00 pm on Friday, November 18, 2022, at the Faith Assembly of God Church in Joplin, Missouri. A visitation will be held prior from 1:00 to 2:00 pm on Friday, November 18, 2022, at Faith Assembly of God Church in Joplin.
