(From Lockwood Funeral Chapel)Doris J. Niehoff, of Lockwood, MO, departed this life on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, in her home at the age of 79.
She was born on July 30, 1943 in Freistatt, MO to Oscar and Bertha Voskamp.
Doris was united in marriage to Charles W. Niehoff on February 9, 1963 at the Trinity Lutheran Church of Freistatt.
She was a wonderful homemaker. Doris enjoyed cooking throughout her life. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church and Lutheran Women’s Missionary League. Doris loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Oscar and Bertha Voskamp; her husband, Charles Niehoff; one son, Rick Niehoff; and her brother, Bill Voskamp.
Survivors include one son, Russell Niehoff and his wife Nicole of Lockwood, MO; two grandchildren, Dwight Niehoff and wife Shelby of Lockwood, MO and Samantha Losak and husband Seth of Lockwood, MO; three great-grandchildren, Eli Niehoff, Shipley Losak, and Seely Losak; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Burial will follow in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Lockwood Funeral Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lockwood Food Pantry and please make checks payable to the Lockwood Ministerial Alliance. Services are under the care of Lockwood Funeral Chapel.
