(From Parker Mortuary)Pete Robert Randall Jr., age 72, of Joplin, MO, passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at his home.
Pete was born on November 2, 1951 in Joplin, MO, to the late union of Pete Randall Sr. and Stella (Kastner) Randall. He joined the United States Air Force after school and served his country faithfully for 9 years before returning to civilian life.
After the service, he worked for Motorola Display Tech for 14 years until their closing in 1997. He then worked as an independent computer technician from 1998 until retiring in 2018.
In his first marriage, he was blessed with two daughters, Dawn Barnard and Candy Randall. He married Patricia “Patti” Miksell in 1998 in Las Vegas, NV. Together they were blessed with a daughter, Abby Randall, and 26 years of marriage before his passing.
He enjoyed boating, dancing, traveling, cooking, and grilling. He made the best homemade spaghetti sauce and juicy steaks. Pete loved spending time with his family. He was a man with a heart of gold and was always there whenever his family or friends needed him. Pete was the definition of selfless. He loved his chow dogs like they were his kids. Pete always had a project going, whether it was fixing up something on the house or helping his daughters with their vehicles. There wasn’t anything that he couldn’t figure out and do it himself. He was a loving husband and father.
