(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Leonard Howard, age 67, of Miami, Oklahoma, passed away on January 7, 2026 after a brief illness. Leonard was born on February 13, 1958 in Neosho, Missouri to his parents, Francis and Vera (Charleton) Howard.
Leonard dedicated many years of his professional life as a supervisor for Tamko, where his leadership and commitment were deeply valued by colleagues. After retiring, he continued to be a source of wisdom and kindness within his community and family.
On October 22, 2011, Leonard married his loving wife, Carol, in Joplin, Missouri. Their partnership was a source of great joy and strength to both, and together they built a life filled with love and cherished memories.
Leonard is survived by his beloved wife, Carol; his four children, Daphne Clark, Brandon Howard, Kevin Henderson, and Brian Henderson; his four sisters, Marcy Crawmer, Joyce Davis, Cheryl Peters, and Rita Kittell; and many grandchildren who adored him. Leonard’s kindness, humor, and devotion to his family will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

A funeral service to celebrate Leonard’s life will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at Mason-Woodard Mortuary. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM prior to the service. Friends and family are invited to gather, share memories, and honor Leonard’s legacy.
Leonard will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
